So it begins..

I have made the jump back into school to finish up my degree in Business Marketing.  Over the last couple years (yes, years) I have been quite busy with life.  Getting married, having a baby, you know… life.  Well it seems like now is a good time to buckle down and finish up my schooling.

I am lucky enough to have the most supportive wife in the world.  She is my motivation and backbone in everything I do.

My first course starts this coming week so it should be interesting sitting back down in a classroom.  I am actually pretty excited to be back in school and I look forward to finishing up.

There is more to school than just getting the piece of paper, although that’s a big part.  I feel like the knowledge I gain throughout this process will be priceless in my professional life.  Finishing my degree is a way to prove to myself and others that I am valuable, determined, ambitious, and motivated enough to be an asset to anyone I work along side.

Over the past few years, I have been fortunate enough to be mentored by the most influential people I know.  I would just like to thank those mentors in my life as I enter into this new journey.

I wanted to write this first post so I could document and share my story.  It should be a fun ride.
